Children's Sunday School
Sunday School for children in pre-school through 5th grade is offered during worship on Sundays. This class welcomes all kids into the same space and meets in Room 207. Class returns September 8, 2024.
Child Safety
We take the safety of your children seriously! ALL of our Sunday School teachers and Nursery Care staff are certified in Safe-Sanctuary, are CPR certified, and have passed a background check. Only authorized staff, parents and/or legal guardians are allowed in the Education wing. Contact us if you have any other questions.

Our Nursery is open with childcare available for your little one during worship. You can drop your child off with our trusted child care professional. We also provide a play space in Crush Hall for toddlers during worship.

Family Camp
Lake Michigan Family Campground is located south of Pentwater on Lake Michigan. JFUMC uses this camp in early August for this wonderful experience. It is a beautiful setting for learning, relaxing, sharing and being with family and friends of JFUMC. The camp runs from Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning, but you may choose a shorter duration to meet your schedule.
Platform tents are available, as are cabins and camp sites for your own camping equipment. Picnic tables, electricity, water, campfire and bathroom facilities are at each campsite or nearby.
A beautiful beach with volleyball, softball, tetherball, hiking trails, and other local attractions comprise the daytime activities. Evening gatherings include learning, singing, dance, games and other activities.
